Thanks to funding secured for this initiative, we have been able to provide extensive training for our peer supporters, ensuring they are well-prepared to lend a helping hand in times of need. We will be launching a dedicated phone line for department members facing crises, allowing them to reach out for assistance and guidance, 24/7.
We are dedicated to ensuring the health and fitness of our members. Through our peer fitness initiative, we provide specialized training and counseling to address our members' physical fitness needs. Additionally, we're committed to maintaining our state-of-the-art fitness equipment to ensure it remains a valuable resource for our firefighters in the years to come.
This program encompasses search and rescue dogs, making a significant impact on our ability to save lives and serve our community. We are immensely grateful for continued funding from St. Louis Firefighters Local 73 community outreach, which allows us to maintain and expand this vital initiative, making our department even more effective in times of crisis.
