About Us

St. Louis Firefighters Association IAFF Local 73 represents the brave men and women who selflessly serve St. Louis. Every minute of every day, your St. Louis firefighters are at the ready to provide excellence in public safety to the residents, businesses, and visitors of our great city.

The members of our organization serve more than 319,000 full-time residents of St. Louis, which has a daytime population approaching one million. Our members respond throughout our 62-square-mile city to fires, medical incidents, and car wrecks, among many other emergencies.

The St. Louis Firefighters Association works tirelessly to advocate for the appropriate resources, best possible working conditions, and fair compensation for the hardworking public servants we represent. Our organization is also dedicated to promoting safety and professional development for its members, ensuring that they are well-trained and equipped to handle any emergency thrown their way.

Our firefighters understand the importance of their work and are humbled by community's trust in them. They do not take this responsibility lightly and always work to improve their skills and knowledge to better serve their community. Whether they are responding to a medical emergency or fighting a blazing fire, our members are committed to putting the safety of the citizens of St. Louis first.

Our association's firefighters represent the very best our city has to offer and strive every day to make St. Louis a safer place. Protecting St. Louis

Our members take great pride in safeguarding the community they call home. We don't just focus on fire safety and prevention, we also work to build up our neighborhoods by supporting a wide range of local charitable organizations.

The St. Louis Firefighters Association IAFF Local 73 is a union representing the men and women who serve as firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, and dispatchers in St. Louis, Missouri. Our mission is to ensure that our members receive fair wages, benefits, and working conditions. We are committed to promoting safety and professional development for our members, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to handle any emergency so they can keep our community safe.

We strive to be a strong and effective advocate for our members, fighting for their rights and working tirelessly to make sure they have the resources they need to protect our community. We believe in the importance of strong partnerships with the community, and we are committed to building and maintaining these partnerships through open and honest communication and collaboration.
